Welcome to Ceres Zipslide Adventures! We offer the best Zipline Tour in Africa. Come and experience this 1,4km of pure adrenalin Eco Adventure, consisting of 8 slides varying from 100-290m in length. This Eco-Adventure is safe, fast and long. The tour takes place in the Schurweberg Mountains below the Koekedouw Dam in Ceres. The Zipslide Tour is the ideal breakaway for your company’s team building or year-end function. A load of family fun and an ideal activity for an awesome bachelors or birthday party. SAFETY We pride ourselves on our safety due to the quality of our installations, the equipment that we use and our professional guides. Furthermore, there are strict criteria set by the Insurance Companies which we have to abide by. We are also one of the only companies in the world to have our own patented zip line braking systems. “Foefie Brake©” & “Foefie Stop©”. *Note that under no circumstances patrons are allowed to handle any equipment. HOW LONG DOES THE TOUR TAKE? The average group size of 8 people takes about 1hour to 1hour 30 min. Note that this might vary due to factors such as: When accommodating very large groups 50+ people. The number of children in the group. The number of parents and children sliding in Tandem. Persons in the group with a fear of heights. When raining it takes time to dry the rain suits. Zipliners are transported from our offices into the mountain with our “Zipline taxi/bus” It is a short (5km) drive down the main road and through suburban Ceres and then up into the mountain. The bus will then transport you back to our office upon completion of the Zipline Tour.

Bookings open 2 June 2023 Come and explore with Southern Right Charters on a whale watching trip of a lifetime. Get up close and personal to the gentle giants of the deep. Sighting include mainly Southern Right Whales, however Humpback Whales, Bryde’s Whales, Dolphins and Penguins are also seen quite frequently. Additional sightings include a variety of marine birds as well as the endangered African Penguin. Our custom and purpose built catamaran ensures the ultimate comfort and stability to guests and the numerous viewing platforms allows offer spectacular viewing opportunities for all guests. Whale season is between June and December when the Southern Right Whales migrate to warmer waters to breed and calve. Trips last between 1h30 minutes and 3h00 and depends on the traveling time to the whales. Trips depart daily at 09h00, 12h00 and 15h00 from Hermanus, known as the whale capital of the world. Southern Right Charters are permitted up to 50 feet from the whales. It is not uncommon for these curious creatures to swim right up to the boat.
