We are predominately based in the southern parts of the park covering the grasslands, thicket and riverine habitats however we are not limited to these areas and can do specialized drives to the various other parts of the Park. ###What you may see:### Vegetation has a major role on what species you will see during your game drive. The following species are are commonly found in the Grasslands: * Cheetah, zebra * Wildebeest * Secretary bird * Kori bustard Thickets are good habitats for * Bushbuck * Nyala * Leopards * Lions * Verraux's Eagle Owl * Crowned Eagle If you are after elephant, buffalo and the African Fish Eagle, than it is the riverine bush is what you want to see during your drive. A reminder that the meeting point is just outside Crocodile Bridge gate. Pick up can be arranged at certain Komatipoort lodges.

Enjoy a 3-hour walking excursion to interesting places in the surrounding wilderness areas. The walk itself is relaxed and the experienced, armed rangers use their knowledge of the bush to track animals such as rhino, elephant and lion and will explain to you the natural wonders and fascinating facts about the African bush. Comfortable walking shoes or boots and clothing applicable to the prevailing weather conditions are recommended. Please supply your own cameras and/or binoculars. A minimum of 4 pax is required. A day tour which combines chimps and caving. Depart from your hotel at around 08h00 and drive to the Jane Goodall Institute Chimpanzee Eden situated about 15kms outside Nelspruit. We arrive in time to join the tour which includes the feeding of the chimpanzees at 10h00. This is a unique opportunity to view chimpanzees in semi-wild surroundings. Visitors will be captivated by these primates who share 97% of mans’ DNA. With every visitor we take to the Sanctuary, we contribute to the rescue of another chimpanzee. After the tour we stop for lunch (own account) before travelling to the Sudwala Caves 24km outside Nelspruit The Sudwala Caves Tour is a one hour tour to the famous Sudwala Caves, which has a very rich and interesting history. The principle guardian of the Caves’ entrance was Sudwala, Somquba’s chief inDuna (councillor / captain), whose name is thus commemorated to this day, and whose spirit is legendarily said to linger in the Caves. Clients are picked up from their lodge/hotel in and around Hazyview or Hoedspruit at 7H30 am and drive to our first stop at Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation where one of their dedicated team of guides will take your around the centre to meet some wildlife residents which are used as ambassadors for their species and Learn about rehabilitation techniques and treatment of injured and poisoned animals and birds. At around lunchtime, we depart Moholoholo to head for Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. After a delicious lunch (own account) at HESC we embark on a 2-hour educational tour that provides a unique experience to get up close up and personal with the rare sightings of the endangered wild dog, cheetah, African wild cat, Ground hornbill, Sable antelope, to name just a few. A visit to the Centre is “an experience of a lifetime” and will leave you with lasting memories. After this tour, we heard back to be at the hotel around 17H00.
