This walking safari is one of Bellevue Forest Reserve’s specialty excursions on a 2,500-hectare private game reserve in the Greater Addo region. A maximum of 10 guests are accompanied by a highly experienced FGASA trained, armed trails guide on walks through the heart of the Addo Valley Bushveld. Early morning walks just after coffee (07h15) last between 45 – 60 minutes followed by a scrumptious breakfast on our Eagles Nest Deck at Olifantskop Lodge. Afternoon Giraffe Walks leave camp after High Tea (15H30) and last approximately 45 minutes where-after guests are entertained in the bush for sundowner drinks and snacks before ending the day at Olifantskop Lodge again.

The River Cruises are a unique way to discover why they call the Sundays River “Africa’s Best Kept Secret”. Our boats are situated at 1 Jetty Street in Colchester, less than 30 minutes drive Port Elizabeth, just below the Southern entrance gate of Addo National Elephant Park. The usage of either of our boats will be dependent on the amount of people attending the cruise. We cater for groups of 1-42 people. The River Cruise is perfect for bird lovers, a work function, birthday party or bachelor/bachelorette party, or just a great time with family and friends. Try something different and join us for a great experience. We are able to arrange return transport or overnight accommodation to suit your budget if required. Please note we DO NOT go into Addo Elephant National Park on this tour. Sunset Beach Safaris allows our guest to experience the beauty of the Sundays River Mouth. The tour on our open safari vehicle includes a trip into PEARSON PARK RESORT, a private resort which leads to the Sundays River Mouth. There guests will receive snacks and drink while being able to walk along the beach and enjoying the sunset. Our tour guide driving the open safari vehicle will be there to give you more information about any wildlife or birdlife seen along the way and share on the history of the resort. On this tour, you may see animals such as buck, mongoose, springhare, etc, but the Big 5 are not in this resort.

Adrenalin Addo’s zip line is the highest, longest and fastest double zip line in South Africa. Twin cables – each 500 metres long – descend from an impressive departure tower perched 70m above Addo’s Sundays River. The departure tower is reached via a short raft ride across the Sundays River and a 10-minute hike through Addo’s indigenous bush. Breath-taking views across Addo’s valley of citrus are the reward from up high before it’s time to get into position, get ready and just let go. A hands free zip line, riders will reach an average speed of about 60 km/h, some exceeding 80 km/h. An automatic breaking system at the end of the zip means you do nothing but enjoy the ride!
