This flight takes 1 hour. It includes a flight over the Blyde River Dam and above the Blyde River Canyon with a great view of the Three Rondawels and returns to Hoedspruit to include approximately 10-15 minutes of game viewing over the Big 5 reserves near Hoedspruit. On your microlight flight, you’ll see for miles as you whizz above the ground and might be lucky enough to spot game, including the Big Five, as it’s much easier to see animals from the air. At the end of your microlight flight, you’ll have a unique perspective on this beautiful part of the country. The Blyde River Canyon is a 26 km long canyon located in Mpumalanga South Africa. It is one of the larger canyons on earth but much smaller than those of Asia. Also known as the Green Canyon. This cruise takes 1.5 hours to complete. Moholoholo Wildlife Rehab Centre is situated at the base of the majestic Northeastern Lowveld Drakensberg Mountain range in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, Moholoholo offers a unique experience to all nature enthusiasts. Maholoholo meaning "the great one" offers travellers a time to unwind, relax and enjoy the beautiful lowveld region. The tour takes 2 hours to complete.

Enjoy the splendour of the third largest Canyon in the world. Unquestionably being the largest 'green canyon' due to its lush Subtropical foliage. An interpretation tour by a tour guide will take you to the you to the rare living Kadishi Tufa waterfall and the Three Rondawels. An abundance of wildlife will keep you distracted while learning more about the natural history of the Blyde Canyon. The Blyde River canyon supports large diversity of life, including numerous fish and antelope species as well as Hippos and Crocodiles, primate species and a diversity of birdlife such as the African Fish Eagle, African Finfoot and much more. Possibly the best view in the whole of the Blyde River Canyon is of the "Three Rondavels", huge, round rocks, thought to be reminiscent of the houses or huts of the indigenous people, known as rondavels. The Canyon is famous for the Kadishi Tufa waterfall. At 200m (around 660 feet) in height it is the second tallest Tufa waterfall on earth. In the case of the Kadishi Tufa fall, the formation that has been produced strikingly resembles a face which is crying profusely, and is thus sometimes known as the weeping face of nature.

The Blyde River Canyon is the world’s third largest canyon. This alone makes it worthwhile visiting, however, the scenery from inside the canyon is breathtaking! The world-famous Panorama Route is in fact centered around the Blyde River Canyon and this makes a boat cruise in the canyon a bucket list item. The professional boat cruise operators provide a unique way of seeing the canyon and the relaxed manner of the experience is fantastic. This is one of those activities where you must see it to believe it. Guests will be collected at a designated collection point and transferred directly to the boat cruise. The cruise lasts approximately 1.5 hours, after which guests can then be transferred back to the original collection point.

Be inspired, enlightened, educated and enthused by this memorable and respectful opportunity to meet and learn more about some of the Jabulani herd elephants and their passionate carers. Arrive at sunrise to meet a few members of an extraordinary family, the Jabulani Herd. Delve deeper into the biology and physiology of these gentle giants while learning about each elephant's unique personalities and remarkable stories. The respectful 90-minute experience takes place at the Jabulani elephant stables, which borders the HERD elephant orphanage. The Orphanage does not allow the public to visit their premises or to view the orphans, to keep their stress levels to a minimum. The Jabulani Herd elephants that you will meet represent the rest of the herd which they join a little later to continue foraging during their days in the Kapama Private Reserve. There will be between two to three elephants introduced who remain behind a low partition creating a respectful distance between the elephants and the visitors. Visitors will have an opportunity to provide some elephant snacks to each elephant, as well as a chance to take a snapshot memory of the memorable experience, with the guidance of the carers. Complimentary coffee and tea with biscuits will be provided upon arrival and available to enjoy until the end of the experience. Clients are picked up from their lodge/hotel in and around Hazyview or Hoedspruit at 7H30 am and drive to our first stop at Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation where one of their dedicated team of guides will take your around the centre to meet some wildlife residents which are used as ambassadors for their species and Learn about rehabilitation techniques and treatment of injured and poisoned animals and birds. At around lunchtime, we depart Moholoholo to head for Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. After a delicious lunch (own account) at HESC we embark on a 2-hour educational tour that provides a unique experience to get up close up and personal with the rare sightings of the endangered wild dog, cheetah, African wild cat, Ground hornbill, Sable antelope, to name just a few. A visit to the Centre is “an experience of a lifetime” and will leave you with lasting memories. After this tour, we heard back to be at the hotel around 17H00.

At the base of the striking Klein Drakensberg is Hoedspruit, home to this exciting 1 hour microlight flight experience. This one-hour microlight flight travels over Big Five game reserves and gives you a view of the magnificent Limpopo landscape in an area favoured for its superb weather all year round. So board the microlight flight and enjoy the jam-packed hour trip. The braver microlight flight travelers can even get some hands-on experience. With a bird’s-eye view of the plains and wild animals that inhabit it, this microlight flight is an unrivaled wildlife experience. It normally includes flying over the Big Five game farms in the area towards the Olifants River and following the Olifants River for a short while before returning for further game viewing over Big 5 game reserves in the area. Good chances of seeing 3 of the Big 5 but the illusive leopard and lion are difficult to find. Game to see could include buffalo, lion (occasionally), elephant, rhino, hippo and plains game such as wildebeest, giraffe, warthogs, zebra and impala.
