Location: Simon's Town, Cape Town, Western Cape
Every day people can play a part in shark science and Conservation by helping Cape RADD collect data on the fish and sharks of False Bay!
Join our marine biologists on a guided snorkel and search for the elusive puffadder sharks, pyjama sharks and more! Photograph their patterns and submit them to Fin Spotter so that we can estimate how many there are and track their movements!
The day starts with a short briefing on the unique ecosystem of False Bay and the Cape Peninsula, and discuss our dive objective, Shark science!. Then… we head out to explore the kelp forests!
The majority of our time will be spent snorkeling among the vibrant Kelp Forests of the Cape peninsula in Simons Town, Cape Town. We generally dive from a secluded beach that also offers the possibility of seeing penguins and sea otters
This experience is suitable for the whole family
