Terms and Conditions CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation within 24 hours of your trip: - If you cancel/do not pitch up to your scheduled trip, you will unfortunately not be able to receive a refund. In the event where you would like to reschedule your booking thereafter, a R100pp penalty fee applies. REFUND POLICY If we cancel because of unsafe weather, we try to do that 24 hours before arrival. Full refund will be given, it will take -/+ 7 working days to complete. Kayak Adventures covers all bank charges. INDEMNITY All passengers are required to sign an indemnity form for all activities they are participating in prior to departure of the activity. If a guest refuses to sign the indemnity form, the guest will not be able to partake in the activity. The indemnity form must be signed by a Parent/Legal guardian for minors under 18 years. Any unaccompanied child 18 or under requires the indemnity to be signed by a parent/legal guardian prior to the activity. CHILD POLICY Minimum age is 8 years. GENERAL 2 guests required to run a trip. Management reserves the right to amend/cancel/add terms & conditions without notice. All terms & conditions are subject to South African Law & Jurisdiction. Persons are not permitted to jump overboard or/and swim without a guide in the water. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to unruly passengers who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or any banned substances. No alcohol may be carried onboard our vessels and strictly no smoking is allowed. Terms and Conditions -Validity of voucher: Our rates are subject to increase without any prior notice. If you are using this voucher after our rates has gone up, you will be liable to pay the balance. -No refunds will be given on any vouchers bought. Bank transfers or cash will only be accepted for direct bookings into the Kayak Adventures bank account, the details of which will be provided on request Credit card acquiring and security Credit card transactions will be acquired for Kayak Adventures via PayGenius (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway. As such, the transaction will reflect as PayGenius: Kayak Adventures on your statement. PayGenius uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR). Responsibility Kayak Adventures takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods Country of domicile This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Kayak Adventures chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
