Pilanesberg National Park, is one of the smaller game reserves inside South Africa, but by no means any less impressive. The reserve covers nearly 55000 ha of land and is famous for being located inside an ancient circular volcanic structure estimated to be around 1100 million years old. In addition to this, the popular Sun City and Lost City Resort in South Africa’s North West province is located inside the greater Pilanesberg National Park and therefore makes for a great location for Sun City Game Drives.
