1 Hour Ballito Quad Bike Adventure Situated only 40 minutes outside of sunny Durban you will find Ballito quad bike adventures. A Durban quad biking experience is fun-filled experience for the entire family.. Kids of all ages are welcome to join the Ballito Quad Bike Trail. Children between 6 and 12 can accommodate adults as passengers as long the combined weight does not exceed 130kgs per bike. Adults, that don’t feel like driving, no problems, you too can go as a passenger. Passengers are R250 per person. Please note, only one passenger per bike is allowed The 10km Kwazulu Natal quad bike adventure is approximately 10km’s long and runs over sugar cane hills and visits an indigenous forest with scenic ocean views before ending up at the beach. The trail is easy enough enough to be handled by a novice quad bike rider and promise to be a lot of fun. Please take note we have moved to the Blythedale area which is a 20-minute drive on the N2 north of Ballito. Welcome to The Hidden Forest Wildlife Sanctuary located near Ballito in KwaZulu-Natal's stunning Dolphin Coast. The Hidden Forest Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the four award-winning sanctuaries in the South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance (SAASA). This is the largest free-roaming, multi-specie primate sanctuary in Africa and SAASA’s first sanctuary in KwaZulu-Natal. Our sanctuary is currently home to eight different species of rescued exotic primates. A variety of indigenous wildlife occurs naturally in our stunning 23-hectare forest, including Natal duiker, Blue duiker, Bushbuck, Vervets, Banded Mongoose and Thick Tailed Bush Babies. There is also a huge variety of birdlife. Visitors are transported on safari vehicles from our reception site to our "hidden forest" where they will be met by their guide. On the guided walk of our forest, which takes approximately one hour, visitors will learn about our species’ unique behaviours and characteristics and the threats and challenges they face in the wild and in captivity. Tours are offered in English and depart from our reception every half hour so make sure to book your spot and arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure. German guided tours can be pre-booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance - please note these are not always readily available so it is advised to contact us prior to booking a German tour. The Hidden Forest Wildlife Sanctuary is an all-weather facility, we are open rain or shine, if it rains you will get wet, but we will be open. We recommend long pants; comfortable walking shoes and mosquito repellent. There is a gift shop, children's jungle gym, toilet facilities, prayer room and licensed pizza restaurant at the reception area.
