Lake ST Lucia, situated in the UNESCO world heritage iSimangaliso Wetlands Park, the largest Estuarine system in Africa, is home to an incredible 800 hippos, 1000 crocodiles and around 520 different bird species. This shorter safari offers one a feel of this magnificent game reserve. With its rolling hills, open Savannah grasslands it remains an incredibly scenic reserve and with its incredible history its sure to be an incredible day for a Safari. With 96000 hectares to explore we travel within the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa. The reserve world re-known for its conservation of Black and White Rhino just to imagine less than 120 years ago less than 100 Rhino’s existed world wide. Today the reserve boasts hundreds of Black Rhino’s and of the largest population of White Rhino’s in the world.

Lake Jozini lies in a dramatic setting at the foot of the Lebombo Mountains and is one of South Africa’s largest dams. The 13 varieties of fish found in the dam include tilapia, catfish, mud fish, carp and the sought after tiger fish. A catch and release policy for the tigers is promoted and anglers are encouraged to retain only one trophy fish each per day, releasing the live smaller ones.
