During your tour, you will see crocodiles ranging from tiny hatchlings to massive adults over 15-feet in length! Even though wildlife tends to rest in the midday heat, the advantage of an afternoon safari is that our guides will have information about earlier sightings and where they took place, so we can try to find the most exciting wildlife for you to experience first-hand. Watering holes are also a popular spot during this time as many animals will be looking to cool down and nothing is more pleasing than watching elephants play around in a river. Our guides will ensure an exciting safari, filled with facts about the animals and birds in the Park, as well as the plant life for those who share an interest in the lush vegetation and age-old trees. There are different kinds of plant-life in the various areas of the Kruger National Park, and these plants attract different kinds of animals. The later the day gets and the closer it gets for closing time in the Park, the better the chances of sightings become, as the animals become more active as the heat dissipates. It is also better to go on a morning safari the next day, if you get a chance, as this is the best game viewing time. Please bring with sun cream, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, warm clothing in the winter months and a rain jacket in the summer months. Mineral waters are included on all safaris.

Enjoy a 3-hour walking excursion to interesting places in the surrounding wilderness areas. The walk itself is relaxed and the experienced, armed rangers use their knowledge of the bush to track animals such as rhino, elephant and lion and will explain to you the natural wonders and fascinating facts about the African bush. Comfortable walking shoes or boots and clothing applicable to the prevailing weather conditions are recommended. Please supply your own cameras and/or binoculars. A minimum of 4 pax is required. All enquiries will be placed on a provisional reservation list with Sanparks, pending further booking enquiries. We regret no children under 13 allowed.

We collect our guests very early from their lodges in the Hazyview and at the well-known Perry’s Bridge Trading Post & Tourism Centre, Paul Kruger, Phabeni or Numbi Gate of Kruger National Park. If you stay out of town a transfer to the meeting point can be provided at an extra cost. Our custom-built open safari vehicles affords all guests great comfort and the optimal view of animals, especially the Big 5!

Our luxury open safari vehicle will pick up guests from their accommodation in Hazyview at 5:00 a.m. (October to March) and at 5:30 a.m. (from April to September). We’ll proceed to the Phabeni entry gate to The Kruger National Park. You also have the option to be met at this gate. Enjoy a full day safari and tour of 10 hours as we go out in search of the park’s most magnificent animals, pride of the African savannah. We stop for breakfast and lunch – approximately 1 hour per stop. Meals are for the guests’ account, unless pre-arrangements have been made with us. Bottled water is supplied. Maximise your viewing with us as we endeavour to help you spot all the animals you’ve got on your sightings list. We’ll stop at picnic spots during the drive, giving you a chance to rejuvenate the senses for more to come. There’s also the chance to purchase curios and mementos at these rest stops. Look out for the famed Big 5, but we’ll also be on the hunt to spot other wildlife curiosities, like the cheetah and the African wild dog! After the drive, we exit the park. Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation or at Phabeni gate. We’ll leave you with the experience of a lifetime and bid farewell in the hope to meet again!
