Full Day Winelands

iGoAfrika Tours
Activity Type: Day Tours Location: City Centre, Cape Town, Western Cape

"Visit up to three wine estates along one of the main, the winelands routes. Wine estates can be suggested based on your personal preference, or our experienced tour guides will discuss options with you on the day. See the beautiful university town of Stellenbosch, with a panoramic tour of the town's oak-shaded streets that are lined with cafes, boutiques and art galleries. Cape Dutch architecture gives a sense of South Africa's Dutch colonial history, as do the Village Museum's period houses and gardens. Drive via the scenic Helshoogte Mountain Pass towards Franschhoek. Here you will have a panoramic tour and free time. Optional visits in Franschhoek include either the Huguenot Memorial Museum and neighbouring monument, which honour the area’s French settlers, who arrived in the 17th and 18th centuries. Alternatively, you can visit Franschhoek Motor Museum, which displays vintage cars amid mountain farmlands. Last wine tasting will be at Rupert and Rothschild Estate (a prestigious joint venture between the late Dr Anton Rupert of South Africa and Baron Benjamin de Rothschild of France – both with deep interests in wine and owners of private vineyards in their respective countries). After the last wine tasting, head back to hotel. Service offered in English / Portuguese / French / Spanish / German. Please ensure to select choice of language under add-ons."

Great African Sea Forest Single Scuba Dive Boat Entry

Impact Divers
Activity Type: Scuba Diving, Free Diving and Snorkeling Location: Simon's Town, Cape Town, Western Cape

Join us on a single tank dive dive down into this magical and marvellous 3-dimensional ecosystem which harbours an incredible array of life, from the tiny and the intricate to the large playful Cape fur Seals and everything in between. This packages includes a single boat entry. The dive will focus on the Great African Sea Forest, stretching along the Cape Coast all the way through to Namibia, wrecks and artificial reef systems. The location will be decided based on the weather for the day. Why not upgrade to a double tank dive boat entry and maximise your time exploring this natural wonder. Upgrade directly from the checkout page and explore two different dive sites! Become surrounded my huge schools of Strepie fish, explore the caves and swim through giant granite boulders and become mesmerised by the spectacle of the colourful nudibranchs. Your expert guide will show you this amazing underwater world in some of the most pristine kelp forests along the coast and point out critters to you which you would have otherwise missed. Whilst diving in the forests, there is also always the possibility of a cow shark interaction as they slowly glide through the strands of the kelp forest in its prehistoric form showing little to no interest in divers as it goes about its natural behaviour. Kelp is NOT a plant but a giant brown alga, but does photosynthesise like plants and so grows in relatively shallow coastal waters, therefore the majority of kelp diving is in waters no more than 12-15m in depth.
