Here is a brief breakdown of what to expect once you arrive: • Before the trip guests meet at THE GREAT WHITE HOUSE in Kleinbaai • You will receive breakfast or lunch and register your wetsuit size • Guests receive a pre-trip safety briefing about what to expect during the trip and a biological background on great white sharks • We then take a 200m stroll down to the harbour to board Slashfin • Travel time to Dyer Island is approximately 20 minutes, with the shallows being a short 10 minute ride (where we anchor depends on where the sharks are) • On average, we anchor for 2 hours, but this depends on shark activity, conditions, as well as number of divers • Weather permitting, we take a quick trip through the infamous Shark Alley • Lastly, a debrief in the Great White House and a celebratory beverage to toast the occasion! Every day people can play a part in shark science and Conservation by helping Cape RADD collect data on the fish and sharks of False Bay! Join our marine biologists on a guided snorkel and search for the elusive puffadder sharks, pyjama sharks and more! Photograph their patterns and submit them to Fin Spotter so that we can estimate how many there are and track their movements! The day starts with a short briefing on the unique ecosystem of False Bay and the Cape Peninsula, and discuss our dive objective, Shark science!. Then… we head out to explore the kelp forests! The majority of our time will be spent snorkeling among the vibrant Kelp Forests of the Cape peninsula in Simons Town, Cape Town.  We generally dive from a secluded beach that also offers the possibility of seeing penguins and sea otters This experience is suitable for the whole family Please make sure to provide a valid email address or phone number. Welcome to the Two Ocean aquarium. The aquarium is open daily from 09h30 to 18h00 on Mondays to Fridays and 09h00 to 18h00 on weekends, public holidays and school holidays. The Aquarium is a hot among families and one of the must do activities when visiting Cape Town. Some of the attractions include: The I&J Ocean Exhibit: Holding 1.6 million litres of seawater with a depth of 6 meters, it is the first of its kind in South Africa and offers a glimpse into the life in the warm waters of South Africa. The exhibit also features a 10-meter-long tunnel. Save Our Seas Foundation Shark Exhibit: Home to a variety of predatory species, the shark exhibit offers a glimpse into the life of some of the most misunderstood creatures in our oceans. Some of the species included ragged tooth sharks and more: Penguin Exhibit: Home to a colony of the endangered African penguin as well as the northern Rockhopper Penguins. Kelp Forest Exhibit: Kelp Forests thrive in the colder waters along the South African coast. The South Easterly winds that the cape is well know for, creates nutrients which feeds the kelp forest allowing it to grow into huge underwater forest. This exhibit allows you to experience firsthand how magnificent these forests are: Microscope Exhibit: Experience the hidden wonders of the Ocean in the Microscope exhibit. 1.5-hours of private surf coaching at one of Cape Town's most suitable surfing beaches. These private surf lessons can be tailored for beginner surfers who prefer learning outside of a general group environment or intermediate surfers wanting to improve specific skills. This option ensures exclusivity for the individual or group with a coach especially assigned to cater for your individual needs. Participants 6-15 years are required to book a private lesson when booking with us. Private lessons can be booked for 1 person or a group wanting exclusivity. The per person pricing decreases as the number of participants increases. For private lessons of 6 or more persons, group rates apply. If you have previous surfing experience and wish to improve on your skills, kindly inform us at the time of booking so we can update your coach. Our headquarters are located in Camps Bay so that we have easy accessibility to both coastlines of the Peninsula. Lessons take place at the most suitable beach depending on the conditions on the day of your booking. We check the forecast on several reliable sources and combine this information with our local knowledge to decide where we will coach each day. We consider factors such as wind, tides, swell direction and ocean temperatures before making our decision to provide the safest and most enjoyable experience.

This package includes 4 x 1.5-hour group surf lessons. We cover everything from surf safety and ocean awareness, to paddling technique, how to stand up and surf the waves, turning and trimming green waves to wave selection and rules of the surf. After four surf lessons you are guaranteed to be 'stoked' and ready to venture off into the appropriate 'beginner' surf on your own. We will advise what equipment is best for you and should you decide to purchase your own gear, we will even guide you to the stores with the best deals. If you would prefer to 'try before you buy' we do offer the option to book for a single group lesson and upgrade to the 4-lesson package should you be 'stoked' after your first lesson. Simply pay the price difference and we will count your first lesson as 1 of 4. For online bookings, please let us know the day you'd like to do your first lesson and then email us the desired dates for lesson 2, 3 and 4.
