Ushaka, from where we can enjoy exceptional views of the city as the sun slips behind the cranes at the docks and the towers of the city centre.  Marvel at the sparkling lights as the city is transformed by the cloak of night – this is truly the best time of day to be at sea!

After an introduction to Durbans history we will take local transport to the markets and spend the morning walking through Durban's markets: The early morning market, the bridge market, the Indian markets, the African medicine (Muti) market, the African market and Victoria street market. Experience the real Durban and do your shopping on the way. After a detailed tour of the markets we will proceed through the city on foot and by using local transport. We will end up at the beachfront for a lovely lunch.

Treat yourself to a magical ride at night down the canal and back. Sit back and take in the stunning lights and bridges as you slip away from the hustle and bustle that is our modern life. Take some time out of your busy schedule to put your feet up and take in the beautiful surrounds as you drift down the canal on a gondola. Be sure to look out for the stunning bridges which make for lovely pics, as well as the rich fish life in the canal as you drift along.
