SA Forest Adventures Quad Bikes

The Caledon Quad Biking trail starts from our base at the Caledon Hotel and Spa. Our office and workshop is conveniently a few meters from reception of the hotel. The trail will take you through a beautiful forest with large indigenous Oak trees an then into a small confined forest with srubs and trees surrounding you as you move through a tunnel of fauna before you hit an open track section. The open track runs in between farm lands and also along a railway line from where you can view the Swartberg Mountains. The trail has two small water crossings and they are easy and fun to do. We also drive on the river bank of small river as it snakes along our trail. The trail is very versatile in its scenery, trail and allows riders to enjoy the outdoors on a quad bike. No previous experience required. The Caledon Hotel and Spa additionally offers a number of Facilities from restaurants, health Spa and of course the famous warm water natural pools Children between 6 and 12 go as passengers and need to be added directly from the checkout page

Tsitsikamma Segway Tours

1 Hour Segway Experience also available EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: Book the 07:00 or 08:00 tour time and get a R50 per person off... :-) * Included in the 2 hour tour is a 15-20 minute training session. (Introduction training is provided before embarking on the tour.) * After the training we take a journey through the quaint Stormsriver Village, and into the cool pine forests. We enter the ancient indigenous Tsitsikamma Forests along the paths to the famous and majestic Tsitsikamma BIG Tree and back to the village. The Segway PT (Personal Transporter) is exceptionally easy and safe to use. Before each tour, guests receive a comprehensive orientation by an experienced official Segway trainer. This training takes between 15 and 20 minutes per group and covers important safety and operational procedures. Before the tour embarks, the guide ensures that everyone is 100% comfortable on the Segway PT. An obstacle course will enable the riders to practice and build confidence before the tour starts. Pickups/Transfers is subject to availability and at an extra cost.
