Welcome to the Two Ocean aquarium. The aquarium is open daily from 09h30 to 18h00 on Mondays to Fridays and 09h00 to 18h00 on weekends, public holidays and school holidays. Kelp Forest Exhibit: Kelp Forests thrive in the colder waters along the South African coast. The South Easterly winds that the cape is well know for, creates nutrients which feeds the kelp forest allowing it to grow into huge underwater forest. This exhibit allows you to experience firsthand how magnificent these forests are: Microscope Exhibit: Experience the hidden wonders of the Ocean in the Microscope exhibit. Diversity Gallery: Come and see Nemo in person in the diversity gallery. Home to tropical beauties such as the clown fish.

Participants 6-15 years are required to book a private lesson when booking with us. Private lessons can be booked for 1 person or a group wanting exclusivity. The per person pricing decreases as the number of participants increases. For private lessons of 6 or more persons, group rates apply. If you have previous surfing experience and wish to improve on your skills, kindly inform us at the time of booking so we can update your coach. Our headquarters are located in Camps Bay so that we have easy accessibility to both coastlines of the Peninsula. Lessons take place at the most suitable beach depending on the conditions on the day of your booking. We check the forecast on several reliable sources and combine this information with our local knowledge to decide where we will coach each day. We consider factors such as wind, tides, swell direction and ocean temperatures before making our decision to provide the safest and most enjoyable experience.

'Uber-Stoked' 4 x group lesson

This package includes 4 x 1.5-hour group surf lessons. We cover everything from surf safety and ocean awareness, to paddling technique, how to stand up and surf the waves, turning and trimming green waves to wave selection and rules of the surf. After four surf lessons you are guaranteed to be 'stoked' and ready to venture off into the appropriate 'beginner' surf on your own. We will advise what equipment is best for you and should you decide to purchase your own gear, we will even guide you to the stores with the best deals. If you would prefer to 'try before you buy' we do offer the option to book for a single group lesson and upgrade to the 4-lesson package should you be 'stoked' after your first lesson. Simply pay the price difference and we will count your first lesson as 1 of 4. For online bookings, please let us know the day you'd like to do your first lesson and then email us the desired dates for lesson 2, 3 and 4.

The Crew is an hour and a half group surf package that offer coaching for three to six people per group. You'll gain a wider understanding regarding surfing in this surf lesson. We will start you off with an overview of your surfboard and how to handle the surfboard in and out of the ocean. Secondly focus on teaching you a winning pop-up technique that has helped hundreds of students catch their first wave! - Reading of waves: Where and when to catch waves will expand your knowledge to give you the confidence to catch your own waves. - Surf safety. - Steering left and right on a wave. - Eskimo / Turtle roll to get through waves and more. If you've had a few lessons before, we will assess your current surf ability at the beginning of the surf lesson and coach you to progress and what to focus on. Lastly, this lesson will include a lot of FUN! The best is to leave any valuables at your accommodation. There is the option to leave your phone, car keys or small bags with above mentioned items in the Surf Life vehicle, but this will be at your own risk and Surf Life Surf School PTY Ltd won't be held liable for any damages or losses.
