The Iconic Table Mountain, recently voted as Africa's top tourist destination, is probably one of the most significant landmarks within Cape Town if not South Africa. Visible from miles away it is one of the new 7 wonders of Nature and offers visitors a variety of things to do. One of the most popular activities, the cable car, has been operating since 1929 and is able to carry 65 people in each of the cars.
