CLICK BOOK NOW FOR CALENDAR AND TO SEE TIME SLOTS The Yellowwood Trail suits riders from novice level up. Our horse paddocks are situated above the golf course at the Kei Mouth Country Club. This is the base from where we offer short day rides for local holiday makers and start overnight beach trails. We are perfectly positioned between Morgan Bay and Kei Mouth, and are a convenient day trip for guests staying at Trennerys Hotel or Seagulls Hotel across the Kei River. You arrive at our horse yard where you are introduced to our team and horses, given a safety riding hat and asked to sign our indemnity and recreational release form. Once you are on your horse, we give instruction on what to do. We check your stirrups, saddle girth and ensure that you are comfortable and feel safe.

Along the trail there are many lovely opportunities to take photos. Our guides are happy to stop and do a "photo shoot" on the beach and get you some fabulous pictures of you on a horse on the beach on the edge of Africa! We have a wide selection of horses that will happily carry most people, we have a weight limit of 95kg (for your own safety and the welfare of the horses) ALL participants are required to sign a recreational release and indemnity form. We provide horse riding safety hats. It is compulsory to wear a hat and is required by our insurance.
ExclusionsYou will pay for your own lunch and drinks at Yellowwood Forest meals, accommodation, refreshments, transfers
• Cancellation more than 48 hrs before the ride 75% refund • Cancellation 48 hrs before the ride- refund 50% • Cancellation same day- no refund • No show- No refund • Once mounted and client dismounts and abandons the ride for whatever reason - No refund, subject to the guides discretion. • No refunds will be made if persons arrive late for rides. Rides will depart as close to the stated departure time as possible. • If WE cancel due to rain or any other circumstance, we will make a full refund. All rides are subject to local weather and sea tides. We will call you and cancel or postpone rides if we deem it unsafe or too unpleasant to ride. • We are closed on Sunday Afternoons and the 25th Dec & 1st Jan every year. If so required you have no claim and will not be entitled to any compensation or refund. You understand and accept that you will be required to sign our standard “liability waiver” on arrival.
