We set the scene with a visit to District 6, before making our way to Hanover Park. Here we meet the members of a Project, who are doing phenomenal work in their community. At the project, we learn about the gangs in the area and how gang culture has shaped and influenced the community.
We meet those who have stepped out of this life and learn about the programmes and activities in place to assist with this exit.
After enjoying a typical Cape Flats Lunch, we take an optional stroll to a community-based organisation focussing on giving young people an alternative to being on the street, started during the Covid19 pandemic
