Shark Cage Diving in Gansbaai with Shark Lady
Our vessel is a 12 metre long and 4 metre wide catamaran which we specifically designed for shark cage diving and viewing. The high season starts around mid February with our best months being March through to September. The cage is a floating, drifting cage. Four divers enter the cage at any one time. A fifth person can be accommodated, however, we prefer to allow the diver comfortable space to move freely. Scuba is available on request and is only given to qualified divers. Our tours depart twice daily off-season (May-October), and up to three times daily in-season (November-April). The duration of the trip will be approximately 3,5 hours on sea. Returning transfers from Cape Town and surrounds can be arranged for an additional amount of R650.00 per person What to bring : warm jacket, sun glasses, peaked cap, towel, costume, sun block, comfortable shoes, a change of clothing & cameras (we do stock disposable underwater cameras at reasonable prices). Should you be prone to sea sickness then we recommend that you speak to a pharmacist who can prescribe Sea Sick tablets, which are usually taken 2 hours before the tour. No diving gear necessary except prescription masks if necessary. We are the passionate pioneers in the industry and stand out miles from our competitors. We take out small groups and depart twice daily for your convenience. We offer silver service and UNLIMITED, quality cage dive time. We offer a full educational on the Great White so that you come away learning about this awesome, apex predator. We do not harm or feed the sharks on our tours. We supply everything, including towels but you are welcome to bring your own.
Condition of payments: A 100% deposit or upfront credit card payment will confirm all bookings. No booking can be confirmed without the required proof of payment or credit card authorisation. We accept all legal tender for payments. Payments can be made online when making a reservation. Telephonic reservations will require the completion of a credit card authorisation form to secure booking. A child of 12 years and older will automatically be regarded as an adult and charged the full adult rate for all services. Children under 12 years of age will qualify for the lower advertised rate. Price is inclusive of Value Added Tax. The exchange rate is calculated daily and therefore is subject to fluctuations.
We encourage advance bookings based on demand. Our cancellation policy is as below: No shows and cancellation within 7 days of departure – 100% cancellation fee *This fee will be debited on the day of the trip if the above applies. A full refund will be considered on merit, by management, in the event of illness, hospitalisation, accident or death, upon receipt of proof thereof. A full refund will be granted should the activity be cancelled in the interest of safety, prior to the trip. In the event that there is no shark activity while on a shark cage diving tour with Sharklady Adventures, then a voucher will be offered. This voucher is not transferable – your name and passport number will be recorded on the voucher. If a shark has been sighted from the boat, we will consider that a successful trip. The transfer fee is non-refundable. All trips are subject to weather conditions and times may vary accordingly. Upon the confirmation of any booking, it shall be regarded that the client has read and accepted all the terms and conditions contained herein. All terms and conditions are subject to South African Law & Jurisdiction.
