The trip includes a 20min scenic forest drive from Storms River Village to the drop off point in the Goesa Nature Reserve where you'll receive your tube. Fully kitted with specialized equipment and guided by local expert guides, a steep 800m walk down the side of the gorge gets you to river's edge Now the fun begins... for the next 4-5 hours we'll be negotiating our way down this phenomenal river by means of flatwater paddling, bouldering, optional tube and cliff jumps with lots of laughs and spectacularly unique scenery. Half way down we stop for a recharge with a chocolate bar and a tube balancing session. The cascade down double dumper brings us to our last few pools before the canyon majestically opens out at the Storms River Mouth Suspension Bridges in the famous Tsitsikamma National Park. Our exit at the concrete jetty brings us to the suspension bridge boardwalk that takes roughly 20min to walk back to the parking area where our shuttle bus awaits. The drive back through the National Park to Storms River Village takes 20min and back at Tube ‘n Axe a well earned hot shower and ‘lekker braai’ round off the days activity with complimentary media and a cash bar This trip is not suitable for children under 12 years old or for very unfit folks. The many steps and bouldering sections must be considered by anyone with weak hip or leg joints especially Please note: Tubing experiences vary according to changing river levels and weather conditions. So please call a day in advance for advice. Most (90%) of our trips are conducted on medium-low to low water and the trip entails pool paddling, bouldering and walking, tube jumps, swimming, and optional rock jumps up to 8m in height. (short pour over and shoot rapids are water level dependent)

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKINGS AND FINAL NUMBERS: Confirmation of bookings, final numbers and dietary requirements must be made at least 24 hours in advance of excursion departure time. Any one of the following shall be accepted as booking confirmation: Complete credit card details including card holder name, card number, expiry date and cvv number 100% deposit paid upfront at least 24 hours in advance via EFT or cash payment at 85 Darnell Street Storms River Successful payment made online via payment portals provided that the Walk-in bookings are welcome and are subject to availability MINIMUM NUMBERS All excursions require a minimum of four paying participants to proceed. Participants will be contacted the evening prior to the excursion should departure times need to be altered for whatever reason or cancelled ARRIVAL 15 min prior to departure time TARIFFS: All quotations on tariffs valid for 14 days. Prior notification of price changes will be communicated in advance where possible. Fixed quotations confirmed in writing will be honoured in the event of price changes. Blackwater Tubing is a registered VAT vender and 15% VAT is therefore applicable to all prices. A compulsory park fee is included - (R50 Green Route) (R80 Red Route) CONDITION OF PAYMENT: A 100% deposit or upfront credit card payment will confirm all bookings. No booking can be confirmed without the required proof of payment, credit card payment received. Tour Operators only: Vouchers acceptable. Payment terms strictly 30 days from invoice. Blackwater Tubing does not accept cheques ADDITIONAL EXTRAS: All extras not mentioned, for own account and should be settled before departure
CANCELLATION POLICY: Blackwater Tubing reserves the right to cancel any activity in the interest of safety or in the case of uneconomical operations due to insufficient number of participants Cancellations by participant(s) / tour operator(s) / organiser(s) must be made at least 24 hours in advance of excursion departure time Blackwater Tubing reserves the right to claim the full fee should the participant(s) / tour operator(s) / organiser(s) fail to cancel the booking 24 hours prior to excursion departure time or fail to arrive. REFUND POLICY Clients/Operators will be refunded in full in the instance(s) of case 1 above. No payment will be refunded should any participant(s) / tour operator(s) / organiser(s) not complete the tour or fail to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of excursion departure time. A R100 per person administration fee shall apply should any refund be granted for any other reason than safety as mentioned above. Refunds will not be granted on experience expectations not having been met
