Our Balloon Safaris take place over several Game Reserves within the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. Rolling hills, large open grasslands scattered with plains game, and winding rivers, together lay the setting for a diverse array of wildlife sightings from the hot air balloon. Our air balloon rides over the Reserves of the Cradle of Humankind, home to four of the Big Five, have a good chance of spotting these iconic animals of Africa. Drifting gently with the winds of the morning our balloon safaris offer guests unique game viewing and photographic opportunities, making for a very memorable experience. Our meeting point is conveniently located at a luxury lodge within the Cradle of Humankind, and is an approx. 30 min drive from Joburg and 40min drive from Pretoria.

All rates are inclusive of VAT at 15% Flights will only be considered confirmed upon receipt of full payment prior to the date of the flight. Upon receipt of full payment, a flight confirmation and map to the launch site will be sent. Children under the age of 7 years are not permitted to fly. A minimum of 4 passengers is required to confirm a flight.
Should a flight or flight package be cancelled within 7 (seven) days prior to the flight date, a full cancellation fee will be levied. Unfortunately due to the growing frequency of late arrivals, we have had to adopt a policy of zero tolerance in this regard. Passengers who arrive late have a serious impact on the safety of the flight, which is scheduled to fly in the most optimum weather conditions of the morning. Late arrival, i.e. missing the transfer vehicle pick up, will be viewed as a full cancellation without notice, and prior payments will be forfeited in total. If a flight is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, the flight will either be re-scheduled or the payment refunded. Refunds will be transacted via the same channels from which they were received and will be nett of all associated Admin and Bank Charges.
