In line with traditional balloon flights, our Classic Air Balloon Flight offers guests the serene beauty of floating gently over the Cradle of Humankind or the Magaliesberg, while sipping on champagne, as the pilot allows the hot air balloon at times to drift at tree top height and at other times will ascend into the skies, offering guests a panoramic view of the beautiful African landscape below. We have air balloon launch sites located in the Cradle of Humankind and the Magaliesberg that have been chosen for their close vicinity to the majority of lodges in the area. Alternatively, we will launch from any lodge that is more convenient to the client, providing that the lodge has adequate space for the launching of passenger balloon.

Wear long pants, comfortable shoes, and layers of clothing, so that you may readily adjust to the temperature through the balloon experience.
Things To Bring* Remember to bring a camera or video recorder, binoculars, sun block and a hat. * To keep your cell phone switched on, on the morning of the flight.

ExclusionsAccommodation (This can be booked on request - Balloon & Accommodation packages are available) *We require a minimum of 4 passengers to confirm a flight on-board one of our larger passenger balloons. There are two alternatives available, we can provisionally book you onto the date then try to confirm another 2 passengers to fly with you or we can move your flight to the next suitable date.
All rates are inclusive of VAT at 15% Flights will only be considered confirmed upon receipt of full payment prior to the date of the flight. Upon receipt of full payment, a flight confirmation and map to the launch site will be sent. Children under the age of 7 years are not permitted to fly. *We require a minimum of 4 passengers to confirm a flight on-board one of our larger passenger balloons. There are two alternatives available, we can provisionally book you onto the date then try to confirm another 2 passengers to fly with you or we can move your flight to the next suitable date.
Should a flight or flight package be cancelled within 7 (seven) days prior to the flight date, a full cancellation fee will be levied. Unfortunately due to the growing frequency of late arrivals, we have had to adopt a policy of zero tolerance in this regard. Passengers who arrive late have a serious impact on the safety of the flight, which is scheduled to fly in the most optimum weather conditions of the morning. Late arrival, i.e. missing the transfer vehicle pick up, will be viewed as a full cancellation without notice, and prior payments will be forfeited in total. If a flight is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, the flight will either be re-scheduled or the payment refunded. Refunds will be transacted via the same channels from which they were received and will be nett of all associated Bank Charges.
