Riders should arrive 15 min before the designated time. The Kei River Beach ride is an 1.5 hour horse ride. This ride is suitable for all ages and especially first-time riders! This is our beginners ride and suitable for adults and children of all ages. A 1.5 hour gentle walk to beach at the Kei River Mouth and then looping back to the horse paddocks. Are you on holiday in Kei Mouth or Morgan Bay and want to do something that the whole family can do together? We are ideally placed for a day out from East London or one of the Wild Coast Jikeleza Route resorts. If you are staying at Trennerys or Seagulls Hotels we are just over the Kei River. Our horse paddocks are situated above the golf course at the Kei Mouth Country Club. This is the base from where we offer short day rides for local holiday makers and start overnight beach trails. We are perfectly positioned between Morgan Bay and Kei Mouth, and are a convenient day trip for guests staying at Trennerys Hotel or Seagulls Hotel across the Kei River.

Along the trail there are many lovely opportunities to take photos. Our guides are happy to take photos on the ride, if safe and can get some fabulous pictures of you on a horse, on the beach on the edge of Africa! We have a wide selection of horses that will happily carry most people, we have a weight limit of 95kg (for your own safety and the welfare of the horses) Small children will be put on lead rein or have someone walk with them. ALL participants are required to sign a recreational release and indemnity form. We provide horse riding safety hats. It is compulsory to wear a hat and is required by our insurance.

All riders are required to wear a protective hard hat & face mask. Minors are to be accompanied at all times by adults/custodians who will at all time accept responsibility for minors. Liability. Whilst riding or in the vicinity of horses in the care of the operator or guide of your trip you must comply with the instructions of that person. You accept that the aforementioned operator or guide is entitled to require you to dismount or to refuse to allow you to ride if for any reason they consider that you may endanger the safety or welfare of any person or horses. If so required you have no claim and will not be entitled to any compensation or refund. You understand and accept that you will be required to sign our standard “liability waiver” on arrival. A copy of our indemnity form is found on this web site or we can send you one by email. • Cancellation more than 48 hrs before the ride 75% refund. • Cancellation 48 hrs before the ride- refund 50%. • Cancellation same day- no refund. • No show- No refund. • Once mounted and client dismounts and abandons the ride for whatever reason - No refund, subject to the guides discretion. • No refunds will be made if persons arrive late for rides. Rides will depart as close to the stated departure time as possible. • If WE cancel due to rain or any other circumstance, we will make a full refund. All rides are subject to local weather and sea tides. We will call you and cancel or postpone rides if we deem it unsafe or too unpleasant to ride. • We are closed on Sunday Afternoons and the 25th Dec & 1st Jan every year.
