If you enjoy sailing, this experience, followed by a delicious lunch, is the perfect way to bring a little luxury into your Knysna adventure. This activity also provides an ideal way to view the spectacular scenery and marine life of the world-renowned Garden Route coastline. The route takes you over the Knysna lagoon, through the impressive Knysna Heads and out into the true freedom of the open ocean. After a magnificent sail, we return to the calmer waters of the Knysna Estuary and serve a delicious feast of Mediterranean style cuisine. All our trips are ocean going trips and are weather and sea conditions dependent. Only the skipper of the vessel can make a judgement call on these conditions which are determined on the day of the charter. Conditions are influenced by tide, wind direction & speed and sea swell, therefore going out through the Knysna Heads is never guaranteed.

Things To BringYou are advised to bring sunblock, sun hats and a warm top or jacket. Don’t forget your camera. Please note we have a no-shoes policy on board our vessel so guests are advised to wear socks during the colder months.

RESERVATIONS CANCELLATIONS
- Bookings cancelled 7 days prior or less, or no shows, will forfeit the full amount.
- Management reserves the right to cancel any transfer or activity due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to, insufficient passengers and/or unfavourable sea or weather conditions.
- In the event of a cancellation by Ocean Odyssey Management, a full refund will be given on the amount paid (or refunded to the booking agent).
- INDEMNITY All passengers are required to sign an indemnity form for all activities they are participating in prior to departure of the activity. If a guest refuses to sign the indemnity form, the guest will not be able to partake in the activity. The indemnity form must be signed by a Parent/Legal guardian for minors under 18 years.
- Any unaccompanied child 18 or under requires the indemnity to be signed by a parent/legal guardian prior to the activity. CHILD POLICY: Children Discount Rates apply to minors aged 12 years and under. For minors over the age of 12 years, adult rates apply.
- Persons are not permitted to jump overboard or/and swim. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to unruly passengers who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or any banned substances. No alcohol may be carried on-board our vessels and strictly no smoking is allowed.
Please note that while this is considered an adult activity, children are welcome on board under the supervision of their parents at all times. Since we are limited to a carrying capacity of only 12 passengers, children are charged full fare. Minimum of 4 guests required to run this trip. If the minimum number of guest have not been reached by the time of the service, the trip will either be cancelled or guests are welcome to pay the minimum fee equivalent to 4 adult tickets to proceed with trip.
