We will spend a few minutes in the training arena, getting to know our horses and novice riders will get a quick lesson, learning to stop, go and turn. When everyone is comfortable, we set off onto our nursery farm, where you can expect to see lots of bird species, including Jackal Buzzards, African Spoonbills, and Red Bishops. You may even see some small antelope, like Steenbok. We also have a dam where experienced riders can take their horses for a swim. Then we cross over to our neigbour's farm, where we ride in the vineyards, with amazing views! Our horses are well trained, and not your usual bored trail horses who do the same route every day. Your guide is a local, and very knowledgeable about both the local area, and natural horsemanship. We try not to mix different groups, so you will have a guide to yourselves, ensuring that everyone gets the ride they want, be that a gentle meander through the vineyards, or a fast paced canter down a farm track. Please do advise us what type of ride you are looking for!

Safety helmets are included, as well as the use of all tack. I also have some sunscreen, but best to bring your own if you prefer particular brands. I am happy to provide a glass of wine for you to enjoy during our ride, please just ask.
ExclusionsWe do not provide water, unless a picnic is booked. Please bring a bottle of water. (We do have a cafe on site where you can get a drink) Transfers are not included. If you do not have a car, the easiest way to get to us is using the UBER app. I am happy to order your uber for your return journey.
**Please note a weight limit of 95 kg is in place. Should your ride be cancelled due to rain, we will do a raindance, given our current drought! Seriously, we will endeavor to reschedule at a time convenient to both parties. Should this prove impossible, a refund will be made.
All bookings are confirmed when payment is received. Bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance via email. If bookings are cancelled with 48 hours notice a full refund will be made. In the event that a booking is cancelled within 48 hours, the client will be liable for the full amount. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel a booking due to unexpected events without prior notice.
