Segway Spier Wine Farm & Vineyards Tour

Spier Wine Farm, R310 BADEN POWELL DRIVE, Stellenbosch, Western Cape (entrance is on Baden Powell Drive)

This tour continues from the first block of vineyards through the Bio-Dynamic farm with a quick stop at our lovely, happy outdoor hens. You will go to another block vineyards and includes the Natural Water Treatment plant, Bio-Dynamic farm. Afterwards, you will enjoy a complementary wine tasting. (Three preselected wines. One of each of the Spier ranges: Signature, Block & 21 Gables.) *No wine tasting on 3pm tour (Apr-Sep) as wine tasting closes at 5pm instead a complimentary bottle of Chenin Blanc per 2 guests will be provided. (Roads may change due to winter rains causing some flooding in wetlands areas.) *STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION PRIOR TO TOUR (no refund or rescheduling will be provided if guests have been drinking) * No children under 12 years. * MAX WEIGHT 120kg * NOT suitable for pregnant women * Tour consists of 30 min training followed by 90 min outride. * Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of tour.

What To Wear * Wear comfortable FLAT shoes (High heels will not be permitted.) * Comfortable clothing fitting to the season. * Please bring warm jacket due to added wind chill in winter months or on Sunset Tours. Things To Bring Optional/recommended items to bring with: * Sun Cream * Water bottle * Camera * Sunglasses

Inclusions * Segway PT. * Guide * Everyone will be required to wear a helmet. (These helmets are sprayed daily with an anti-bacterial spray.) Exclusions * Transfers * Optional guide gratuities.

Terms & Conditions

No Children under 12 years Alcohol consumption prior to or during the activity is strictly forbidden (NO REFUND OR RESCHEDULING WILL BE PROVIDED if this is not adhered to) We are unfortunately unable to take pregnant women on any of our tours. Not suitable for individuals with leg/arm/back (knee/ankle/hip/shoulder/hand/wrist) injuries. 30 min training is included.

Instructions

Cancellations within 2 weeks prior to tours will be charged at 50%. Cancellations within 2 days prior to tours will be charged at full price. NO SHOWS = NO REFUND Late arrivals will be treated as NO SHOWS (Segways are electric vehicles and need to charge in between given tour slots.) Guests over 120kg = NO REFUND Guests that have been drinking alcohol prior to tour = NO REFUND/NO RESCHEDULING Should we cancel due to harsh weather conditions you may reschedule or receive refund (vouchers will be rescheduled). A full refund will be granted should Segway Spier cancel any activity in the interest of safety. Admin fee of R30 for any refunds processed.
