Experience a part of the World’s famous Cape Town Cycle Tour. This exclusive tour start in Simon's Town and winds its way towards Cape Point and arround to the sleepy village of Scarborough.
See why they call it Misty Cliffs before heading up Slangkop towards to the popular surfing town of Kommetjie. Apart from surfing, it is well known for its long white Sandy Beach that stretches all the way to the start of Chapmans Peak Drive (chappies) in Noordhoek.
The tour heads in this direction and follows chappies all the way towards Hout Bay. Along the way, you can expect some of the best views to be found in South Africa.
Chapman’s Peak Drive dates back to the early 1900s and is without question one of Cape Town’s Top 10 tourist destinations. Its popularity is due to the incredible scenery on offer viewed from a road that has been literally hewn out of the almost vertical cliff faces on the Cape Peninsula’s Western side.
The next stop is Hout bay Harbour, perched on the edge of the ocean in Hout Bay, Cape Town. With yachts and fishing boats dotting here and there, the harbour is a beautiful spot to have lunch or enjoy a walk along the quay. A waiting period of about 1 hour.
The tour will now head back to Simon's Town and will stop off at wildly popular Farm Village in Noordhoek. Expect amazing food at Café Roux, the Deli, other selected restaurants and Sushi at the Noordhoek Hotel will ensure you to spend some quality time here. Approximately 1 hour waiting period. From here we’re turning back to Simon’s Town over The Glencairn Express.
