Aerial Cable Trail

Perry's Bridge Trading Post, main road (R40), Hazyview

Experience the freedom of gliding over one of the last remaining natural forested valleys along the Sabie River adjacent to the Kruger National Park. The aerial cable trail takes you down into the valley basin, stopping along the way on a number of elevated platforms to admire the natural vegetation, birdlife and the views of the forest floor below. Each section of the trail varies in length from 70 to 230 meters linking a total of 10 platforms, making the total length of the trail 1.2km. The trail has been designed and built to South African civil engineering standards and all the equipment has been designed specifically for this activity and tried and tested worldwide. All groups are escorted by qualified guides. Participants meet at Perry’s bridge Trading Post in Hazyview, to complete the necessary documentation before being kitted out and briefed. Guests are then transported to the starting point of the trail. After the trail has been completed, participants are returned to Perry’s Bridge Centre, where you will find restaurants and shops at your service. Bottled water is provided during the trail. We can accommodate up to 8 participants per trip, on scheduled departures. Larger groups can be accommodated over several trips, please enquire about our team building specials. I hereby freely and willfully undertake the excursion at my own risk and I declare that I am in good health, not pregnant and prepared to act responsibly at all times, including the transport and the hike. I hereby on behalf of myself and my executors, administrators, heirs or successors undertake not to institute legal action against the owner, and do hereby indemnify, hold harmless and absolve the owner, its members, employees, guides, organisers, servants, helpers and agents from any claims of whatsoever nature and/or liability in connection with loss or damage to my property, or injury to myself, or even death, arising from negligence of the above parties or from any cause whatsoever in the course of the excursions organised by the owner. 5. I freely and willfully agree to all the terms and conditions under which the excursion/tour is being conducted. I furthermore freely and willfully undertake to cover all and any costs, which may be incurred for rescue in emergency situations, hospital or medical treatment, and for any transportation cost or evacuation cost by vehicle or aircraft should it become necessary in the event of an emergency. 6. I do hereby indemnify the owner against all actions, proceedings, liabilities, claims, damages, costs, expenses and losses of any nature whatsoever, which may be sustained or incurred by me in consequence of any loss of life, illness, loss or damage to property, luggage or any injury whatsoever and howsoever suffered by me, either in person or property, whether same arises by reason of any act of God, accident, or the negligence, wrongful act or omission on the part of the owner and/or person or persons employed by the owner.
